I had my preconceived notions about what sororities were and was a little cautious when hearing about one of their events from a friend. However, once I attended an event I found myself admiring the sisters, and their commitment to community service, sisterhood and academics. I realized that this was the perfect place for me, as I too valued those commitments. What I love most about the SLG is the honesty amongst sisters, and the importance of diversity and acceptance. Through SLG, I thought I was able to build long-lasting relationships and gain more of a better university experience. I joined SLG hoping to be able to share my experiences with girls that share the same values and priorities as me.
