Reasons for Joining ΣΛΓ: SLG has introduced me to some of the most inspiring, beautiful, kind and ambitious women I’ve ever known. After meeting them through the first event, I knew these girls would be the ones to inspire me, push me out of my comfort zone and help me feel at home for who I am and that’s the reason I joined. Reasons for Joining ΣΛΓ: I decided to join SLG because I wanted a sense of identity and the feeling of belonging to a family, essentially a home away from home. SLG introduced me to some of the most driven, beautiful, well-rounded and inspiring girls I have ever met and which I immediately felt a connection to. I felt welcomed by all of these girls and felt proud calling them my sisters! :)

Reasons for Joining ΣΛΓ: When I first heard about Greek life on campus, I was intrigued because sororities are virtually unheard of back home. Upon actually meeting the girls in SLG, I was so pleasantly surprised by how closely the sorority’s values aligned with my own. I then realised that I was lucky enough to be sitting in a room full of people who shared the same values as me, and knew that I had to seize this opportunity while I could. In the short time I’ve spent in this country, I’ve never felt more welcome and more cared for than within this sisterhood, and making the decision to join has added a richness to this journey I otherwise never would have been able to experience.

Reasons for Joining ΣΛΓ: “To live life with balance is to live life with success”, when I rushed in the first weeks of university, meeting, sharing jokes with sisters of SLG, I just knew this was the group of girls that will inspire me, and call family for the rest of my four years and beyond. I never knew SLG would be such an enriching experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Reasons for Joining ΣΛΓ: I joined SLG because I wanted to go outside of my comfort zone and meet new people. As I am an introvert, I have found it very difficult to make friends in university. I thought that joining SLG would give me the opportunity to meet an amazing group of girls who share similar interests as me and make lifelong friendships. I felt an instant connection with the girls at SLG during recruitment and am proud to call the girls my sisters.
