Didn’t really think much about it, but ended up going to an info night event. Found that I really enjoyed meeting everyone there and that SLG is a great group of girls. Joined, and loving it! Impact of ΣΛΓ: SLG has provided me with some of the strongest friendships I have, new found appreciation for philanthropy work, endless leadership opportunities, and the most challenging and fun experiences of my life. Favorite activities: Daydreaming, making sarcastic comments, reading, baking, laughing, singing in the shower/car, yoga, shopping. Honestly, the first time I came into the first meeting, I got so scared since I was the only one there. But all the sisters were awesome and I felt very welcomed! And I’d like to get out from my comfort zone before I graduate. It’s definitely an awesome experience. Along the way, I found a wonderful support system of girls who will always be there for me, and who shared the same values and goals as me. I am so glad I met a group of genuinely fantastic women who can now only be described as my family.
