Being able to be a part of a sorority that views this foundation with importance is very significant to me. I happened to notice Maggie’s SLG yoga pants one day so I got curious, and since then I’ve found what I wanted in SLG. Impact of ΣΛΓ: Sigma Lambda Gamma makes me the unique, strong, and confident leader I am today. I built friendships that I know will last my lifetime with my sisters. I built connections with women that I am proud to call my sisters, and with Greeks that I am proud to call family. In all my years at UW, no classroom lecture or student association workshop ever came close to teaching me the transferable skills I acquired through the sorority. SLG’s five principles drive my actions and words everywhere I go.
