Founders Ball
Annually during the month of March Sigma Lambda Gamma Hosts its "Founders Ball". This event commemorates the establishment of the sorority, it also celebrates the accomplishments of sisters that year both active and inactive. It is memorable event for sisters both past and present to meet, socialize and reconnect with one another.

Recruitment Week
Every active term we have our recruitment week, this is when we host events where young women attending the University of Waterloo, Laurier and Conestoga can come meet the sisters. During the week we host different events where sisters get to know recruits and see if they are the right fit for us. If so then begins their journey with Sigma Lambda Gamma.

Philanthropy/ Volunteering
The sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma love love to volunteer for the community in anyway they can. Whether it be relay for life, soup kitchens, habitat for humanity etc. the sisters love to contribute to making this world a better place. We also host many philanthropy events that greeks and non-greeks can attend annually. During these events we raise money for different organizations and all the proceeds go directly to them to use as they wish.

Sisterhood Retreats
During each active term the sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma enjoy planning a "sisterhood retreat" which is an event that brings the sisterhood closer together. It can include anything from having photo-shoots, rock climbing , going to a cottage or just hanging out somewhere all together. This promotes unity within the sorority plus is an opportunity for sisters to get to know each other better.

Sister Outings
The sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma sometimes like to plan their own unofficial outings, because who says they can only hang out during sister retreats? The outings can range from trips to wonderland, camping, etc. it's just like a sister retreat but more low key and can involve not only sisters but other friends as well.
