Hi there! This is Breanna, Sigma Lambda Gamma’s recruitment chair for winter 2016. Our recruitment 
for the term has come to a conclusion and it was a great success! I loved every moment of recruitment: 
the planning, organizing, decorating, activities and social interaction. Sisters of ΣΛΓ were present at 
Vendor’s Alley, Clubs Days, and Greek Life 101. We had the opportunity to interact with the rest of the 
Greek community at the University of Waterloo and met many wonderful ladies! The events ran 
Monday to Thursday in the third week of January and included Winter Wonderland with hot cocoa; Fun 
and Games with colouring and conversation; A Philanthropic Affair where sisters and recruits made 
Valentine’s for Kiss for the Cure; and a Semi-Formal evening. Myself and the sisters were pleased to 
meet so many recruits during the events and loved having the opportunity to get to know them better.
